We have 50+ transparent nylon cords, plus hooks of various sizes and weight capacities.

Move the other hooks up and down by loosening the screw, repositioning, and retightening.
Once you’re happy with the height of the hook, roll any excess cord length into a loop, secure with the masking tape provided, and tuck it behind the works to hide.
A very slight tilt is to be expected, but if a particular work is tilting more than others, try a hook with less depth, or one of the small spacers provided.
If that doesn’t do the trick, a failsafe fix is to use 3-M Command Strips™️ to tape the cord to the wall behind the work.
Be sure to bring a pack with you, as it’s the only kind of tape we allow.
Just one, centred cord is usually best for smaller works; for medium and bigger works, two hanging cords are better.
If you need to hang several works at the same height, it's often easier to get all the hooks positioned on the cords first. Insert one cord into the hanging rail and get the hook height right - then remove it and use it as a master to line up all the other cords and hooks on a flat surface.
Grid hangs with two or more works on one cord can be challenging - the mechanics mean that twisting can occur as well as tilting. This can be overcome with command strips, but we generally advise against it.
For very heavy works (5kg+) there are 4 heavy duty hooks available, and 2 x 20kg hanging rods (image far right, above).
The hanging rail itself can take up to 50kg per metre, and each nylon cord can take 20kg. In theory you could hang 50kg per metre using 3 cords with heavy duty hooks.
To hang work very close to the floor there are some 3m cords available - just ask if you need these.
There is also picture wire, screw eyes, masking tape and a tape measure in the hanging caddy, and a spirit level is available in the under stairs cupboard.
If you have any questions that aren't answered here, just get in touch.

The easiest to use are the 4kg hooks, which can be quickly repositioned by squeezing, then moving them up and down the cord.

Three Rooms hanging system
Three Rooms is fitted with Newly R30 Professional hanging rail along all the hangable wallspace. The image shows how the hanging cords are inserted into the rail, and we’ll give you a quick tutorial when you pick up the keys.
